...or so it seemed. I didn't really do a whole lot, yet the weekend just flew by.
Friday night we just stayed home and had a frozen pizza. Piglet went down very easily. She was so tired! She got up at 5:30 and then again at 7:30. She didn't want to go back to sleep, so I just went and got her and brought her in bed with us. Hubby was awake by that time so she laid in between us and we played with her for a little bit. Hubby got up to make us some eggs and Piglet and I stayed in bed. She ended up falling back asleep and so did I for a little bit. We finally got up and hubby had not only made eggs, but bacon and potatoes as well! I was quite impressed! We ate and sat around for a little bit. I finally got going and took a shower and gave Piglet a bath and got ready. We headed over to my parents for a bit and then ran to Kroger for a few things. We got home and ate some lunch and Piglet and I just watched some TV while Hubby was studying. I made BBQ pork chops for dinner. They were soooo good! I'm not the best cook in the world, but that's one thing I'm very proud of!
I put Piglet to bed around 9:30. She fussed for awhile. We let her fuss for awhile, but Hubby gave in and went in to soothe her. I chastised him for giving in. He went back to studying and a little while later she was still fussing, so I went in and rocked her (he he he). I only rocked her for about 5 minutes and put her back down and she went to sleep! She got up around 4:30 and thankfully went back down pretty easily. I got up and got ready for church and then got Piglet ready and we went and picked up The Chad and headed to my brother's church. We sat in the back row in case Piglet acted up. It was funny b/c Piglet's been very gassy the past few days and she's not holding it in, which is good for her mood, but her letting it out can be a bad thing too. Well, I was sitting in between my brothers and I was holding her and I could feel her passing gas...that's fine, no problem. Then RightRev was holding her and she was still doing it...still not a big deal. She got fussy and he handed her back to me and she fell asleep, so all was calm. Then I passed her to The Chad and she woke up and passed gas, but this time we heard it! It was all I could do not to bust out laughing! Thankfully the people in front of us didn't appear to notice. What a little "lady" I'm raising! :) Anyway, the service was really good. They have an awesome worship band too. I got to see a few people that used to go to Bethany. Unfortunately, the ones I really went to see weren't there, so I'll have to go back again soon. I went home and we ate lunch and Hubby went to study and Piglet and I laid down on our bed to take a nap. She slept for a solid 2 hours and I slept for probably about an hour. It was very refreshing!
After our nap, I got up and changed and fed her and settled her into her bouncy seat. I cleaned the bathroom and vacuumed it, her bedroom, and the living room. I also cleaned off her dresser b/c there was just a bunch of crap on it that didn't need to be there. Piglet was getting antsy by that time, so I showed her a little attention. We had leftovers for dinner and watched some of the Academy Awards. I recorded them, so I can watch what I missed. I put Piglet down around 9:30 and she fussed for awhile. Around 10, I got her up and fed her again and rocked her for about 5 minutes and then she was out like a light! She slept through until around 6 when I got her up. What a good little girl!
I had to call her pediatrician this morning b/c she hasn't had a bowel movement in a week! I didn't realize it had been that long since other people watch her during the day, but after comparing notes with my mom, I realized it had been too long! They suggested I give her an enema. I'm not looking forward to that! They also suggested giving her 1 oz. of prune juice mixed with 1 oz. of water. I don't see her taking that. Hopefully the enema will have to work. I'm sure that will be tramatic enough! The things parents do....
Missed seeing you all yesterday, but I hope everyone's well! Hang in there, Josy, and get better! I have an adorable picture my mom took of Piglet when my dad was changing her diaper the day he helped babysit that I'll try to post later...

I don't envy you at all with Piglet!!!! GROSS....but the things we have to do! LOL!
Sorry about tomorrow....I didn't want Piglet to get whatever I have!
Have a great day tomorrow and I LOVE the picture of Piglet! So cute!
Lots of Love!
Adorable picture!!! She is developing such a little personality!!!! And what a good girl with her sleeping so much for you lately!!! Hopefully this continues for you guys!
How funny that she passed loud gas at church.....I bet your brothers got quite a kick out of that! Neither of my kids ever had a problem having bowel movements...but my cousin's kids do. The prune juice usually does the trick if you can get her to drink it. Neither sound very much fun to me!!! Have fun with that!
Love ya!
You'd be surprised at what babies will drink!! I never had a problem with Princess & prune juice!! LOL :) We got the ones mixed with apple juice, too, and just didn't have a problem with her taking it...and I didn't have to give Princess an enema until she was closer to 1 and she "discovered" she could hold it...those watery ones are MUCH better than those harder "glue stick" lookin' ones :) LOL
See how many things there are to discuss about baby poop? Who knew?!?! LOL :)
Talk to ya later :)
