Feelin' better

So, I think I might have just had a 24 hour thing. It was very strange. I'm doing better now, though.

Work has been very busy this week. Between last minute things for the party tomorrow and covering for the receptionist, it's been hectic! Yesterday, Lady Di and I did a lot of running. One of our owners is sick, so we had to do something things for her that she normally does for the party.

FIL had knee replacement surgery yesterday. That went well. My Mom watched Piglet and Hubby went to the hospital and stayed with his Mom. I think FIL will get out of the hospital on Sunday. Then poor MIL will be REALLY busy! FIL can't go up and down stairs for 2 weeks. Luckily, they have a downstairs bedroom and bathroom. She'll still have to wait on him, though. I don't know how we'll deal with Piglet. Hubby's out of school, but with him being off his meds until the surgery, it's hard for him to have to deal with her all day by himself. She's so active now! MIL offered to have Piglet spend the night with her on Monday and Wednesday nights, but I don't want Piglet to do that, so we'll see.

My Mom was sick today and couldn't watch Piglet, so Hubby had to call into work. I hope he doesn't get in trouble. Normally, I could have called in with no problem, but I had to cover the receptionist for a few hours this morning, and no one else was in the office to tell. Plus I had some things to finish up for the party.

It's been so windy here today! Apparently part of our fence blew down again. We have an old wooden privacy fence and it's badly in need of replacement, but we just don't have the money. Well, we'll have to figure something out b/c it's slowly coming down piece by piece. We had a few feet of fence (say that 10 times) blow down last year and we had to patch it with chicken wire to keep the dog in the yard. Man, we belong in KY! LOL.

So, tomorrow's the big party and I'm so excited! I found something else to wear that I love, so now I can be excited! I'm getting my hair done tomorrow and then Hubby and I will head down to the hotel. Lady Di and I are getting there early to finish some things up....ie. set out placecards, make sure everything is where it should be, put out the "party favors", etc.
