March 20th

So, the big ultrasound day is March 20th. I can't wait! I want to know what I'm having!!!! I had a dream last night that it's a girl b/c I remember thinking I wouldn't be able to go buy new stuff. I've felt all along it's a girl anyway, but I'm secretly hoping for a boy. Guess it's not so secret anymore, huh? I had my regular OB appt. yesterday and everything's going fine. Baby's heartbeat was good....I'm growing....etc. Fun stuff!

Well, thanks for your prayers, but Brian didn't get that job. It might have been more of a blessing b/c he found out (after he already had interviewed) that only one person does that job and I guess it's extremely busy and stressful. He wasn't sure he could handle that when he went back to school in the fall. Anyway, the lady said he was great, but it came down to someone a little more qualified, which is what we expected anyway. Maybe next time!

Abby now feels the need to pat my belly when I'm changing in front of her. It's not one of those loving pats either, it's like she's fascinated with the jiggly fat that is my belly right now and can't help but pat it. Whatever...could be worse, right? If you ask her where Mommy's baby is, she points to my belly, however.....if you ask her where Daddy's baby is, she also points to his belly. ha! It's funny! He doesn't think so, but I laugh everytime....

I can't remember if I blogged last time about our receptionist going part time or not. Anyway, they already hired another part timer to fill the mornings she'll be out, so that's awesome! That means I'll have to cover the front desk a lot less and I'm very happy with that!

I also can't remember if I blogged about this or not (I can hardly remember what I ate for breakfast) but I'm going back on the praise team at church this month. It's been 2 years, so I'm a little nervous about getting back into the swing of things, but I'm also looking forward to it. They're a great bunch of people, so it will be nice to sing again.

We finally got our tax refund back today! Of course, it's already spent, but that's the fun part about being an adult, right? I have to send in the payment for our fence we had to have repaired and then Brian's car is getting new tires as we speak and the rest will go towards the couch we bought. Whatever happened to using that money for fun stuff? Oh, yeah, we've never gotten to do that!!!!!! There's always some crisis or big bill that comes up. I guess it's better than not getting anything back, right?
