So, I really dread blogging these days and I'm not sure why. I think it's b/c I always have stuff to say, but when I actually take the time to type it out, I forget everything! It's annoying!
Well, first and foremost, please keep Brian and I in your prayers this afternoon. We have an appt. to talk with the neurosurgeon regarding his surgery. I've been a ball of nerves with all of this. The surgery is so necessary, but the timing sucks with me having the baby, being off on maternity leave, etc. Plus he's supposed to go back to school this quarter, so there's a matter of his student loans. Anyway, I've just turned my prayers towards this very generally and just ask that the Lord do as He see fit and work everything out....period. I just figure a few extra prayers couldn't hurt, which is where you come in! :)
Let's see....Abby still has her cast and is doing great with it. She gets it taken off next Tuesday and hopefully everything's okay. I think they'll do an x-ray to be safe. She's been a complete trooper and she's so used to it...it doesn't phase her. With it being waterproof, she still gets her bath every night and she went swimming last weekend, so she's good. She is my angel/devil child. She can be a holy terror one minute.....stubborn, defiant, disobedient, etc. Then my sweet caring little girl the next. If she thinks you're upset or hurt, she's very concerned and she'll say, "Mommy? You okay?" in the sweetest little voice! I just love her when she's like that....not so much when she's devil child! lol. We've regressed some on the potty training with her leg injury, so we're somewhat starting over with that. It's frustrating....we were so close! She peed on the floor twice on Saturday and I about killed her. Well, the first time I think was just laziness maybe. We had to go back to her being naked to use her potty and she was standing at her little table eating and all of a sudden, she starts peeing!!!! I could have killed her. The second time wasn't as much her fault. She was in timeout and crying and peed on the floor. Kind of can't blame her when I'm yelling at her to stay in the corner! lol.
I'm so ready to be done with this pregnancy! I wouldn't have said that 2 weeks ago, but I'm definitely saying it now. I've been very proud of myself for keeping up with everything I normally do, but the last week or so has really gone downhill fast. I'm so much more tired, achy, whiny, etc. lol. I'm done being pregnant and I'm ready to start my maternity leave!!!!! 3 weeks from Friday....I'm counting down! I'm definitely not looking forward to the sleepless nights, but I do want to see this baby boy and see if he takes after me....Abby was her daddy. I want this one to be a mini me! lol. Work is work. They're getting ready to move me probably next week. My desk has been in customer service for almost 4 years now and they're finally going to fill it up (temporarily) so that means I have to move. They're putting me at the only empty desk, which is in our accounting department, with 2 other women. They're nice and all, but a different dynamic, so I'm not looking forward to it. I'm just comfortable where I'm at. My boss assures me I'll get to move back at the end of the year when one of the ladies in Customer service retires, but we'll see....
I have my checkup tomorrow and then I'm going every week until D-Day! I hope they give me a definite time for the c-section so we can make the plans. I need to figure out someone to stay with Abby since everyone will be at the hospital with us. I'm hoping Brian's aunt can do it....we'll see.
Well, I think that's about it with me. Missy, don't feel guilty and enjoy your vacation! Hope you all have a nice 4th! Love ya!

I can't wait for baby to get here! Have you picked out names yet? I can't remember.
Glad that Abby is being such a trooper. She sounds just like Joe, angel/devil child.
Praying for Brian!
Love ya
Let us know about the appointment. I know it's hard to give it all up to God...but you have to (hello pot, I'm kettle)...and it will turn out just fine.
Glad that Abby is doing so well. She is so sweet about the whole thing. My kid would be nawing it off! lol!
Sorry for the move at the office...and right before your leave. I can't believe that they couldn't wait until after you left. I mean, it's just three weeks.
Lots of Love!
