So, yesterday, my parents came over around 11:30 to wash all the baby's clothes, blankets, sheets, etc. They didn't leave until 6:30! (Thanks Mom and Dad!) My dad even got me McDonald's for lunch. YUM! I'm so easy! :) After they left, I waited for hubby to get home from work. I made chili...well, sort of. I opened cans and put stuff in the crock pot, but my mom fried up the ground beef and put that in. She did the "hard" part. Hubby worked late and finally got home around 7:30. We ate and watched TV for the evening.
Today, we got a call from hubby's cousin, who's in town from Georgia, and she wanted to stop by to see us since we didn't see his extended family on Thanksgiving. So, she and hubby's aunt came by around 2 and we visited for awhile. It was good to see her. She and her husband will go to his family's at Christmas, so we won't see them. She brought a baby gift for Abby. A set of socks and some 9-18 mos. onesies. They also got to see the nursery and we talked a lot about the baby and birth stories. Hubby's aunt is a nurse, so she's very helpful! They left and now hubby is watching Lost from the other night and I'm laying down.
I think we're going to put up the Christmas tree this weekend. We probably won't get everything out this year with the baby coming and trying to prepare for that, plus I can't help, so it's less for hubby to deal with.
That's about it for now. At least no more hospital visits in the last 2 days!

Oh, Sara! You're going about this the wrong way!
Ian was due around Christmas and I kept praying for him to come early so I wouldn't have to mess w/ the tree and decorations. He didn't and I did! I'm such a scrooge!
Actually, I love Christmas and all the trimmings as long as I don't have to do the trimming!!!
Glad you enjoyed hubby's cousin's visit and that you have been doing well...
[Do NOT fold those clothes!!!! LOL!]
Much love!
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...::singing::...
Glad you had a good visit!! :) I had Princess's clothes all washed and ready for her, too :) It's rediculous to me, though, that so many of her cute little outfits had to be IRONED after I washed them!! Are they CrAzY?!?! LOL Baby's clothes are smaller than the whole iron itself!! LOL
::end of rant::
I guess I needed to get that off my chest!! LOL :)
Talk to ya later :)
Merry Christmas :) (you know I'm just saying that now because I know you roll your eyes at it!! LOL )
I was so in the nesting stage that the night BEFORE I had the C-Section, I was ironing all of Pita Pocket's clothes...and all his towels and washclothes and blankets. Who in the WORLD irons wash clothes? LOL! It's funny to look back on some very stupid moments! I'm so glad you had a nice visit. It's also good to get bigger size clothes for baby! Because nobody will buy you anything after 3 months. LOL! We'll miss you tomorrow! Stay out of the hospital...let's say for at least a week! Lots of Love!
