Santa Clause???!!!!

I've been meaning to post the last couple of days, but I've been too tired. Go figure! Monday, I had a doctor's appt for a blood pressure check, so Piglet and I headed over there. It was better than it's been, but still a tad high. When I've taken it at home, it's been consistently lower, so the doc said I don't have to come back for 2 weeks, then we'll see how it's going and I may be able to start going off my meds. Wouldn't that be good? Piglet just let out a loud, but short cry and our dog, Maddy, jumped. It was funny. Okay, I'm back on track.... Monday night, a group of ladies from church made us dinner and brought it over. We had roast with potatoes, green beans, rolls, cookies, and an ice cream roll. It was delicious and we have enough leftovers for days!

Yesterday, a nurse from Precious Beginnings Home Care from Kettering Hospital came by for my home visit. She asked me a bunch of questions about how things are going with me and Piglet. Then she weighed Piglet, who is now up to 5 lbs. 7 oz. After the nurse left, hubby and I got ready to go do some Christmas shopping. As we're driving down the street, we pass a van with Santa Clause driving. The funny thing is that he was a very real looking Santa and hubby and I both said "Santa" at the same time. It was funny! Anyway, we are only buying for our immediate family and it's a very small amount at that. We just went to Target and Walmart and I got the majority of what I needed. We stopped and picked up Taco Bell on our way home for lunch. We got home and I fed Piglet and then my brother (RightRev) came over to see her since he was off yesterday. He helped me get the links on my blog finally!!!!! Thanks, RightRev!!!!

My dad stopped by on his way to PT practice to pick up SebbieDue's dishes to take to her and he finally got to see Piglet wide awake. He was sooooo excited! Oh, and he said "Hi" to us on his way out...LOL. We're already used to being second to Piglet. Then my dad stopped by again on his way home to drop off a few gifts. One being from my Secret Sister....HBM!!!!! What a sneakster! I was convinced it was her up until my church baby shower where there was a gift from my Secret Sister that said "Sorry I couldn't be there"....liar liar! :) She threw me off from there. HBM, you were the best Secret Sister I've ever had and I mean that!

Piglet was insatiable last night! I fed her off and on for 2 hours straight! Finally when we were trying to go to bed (around 11:30) hubby gave her 1 oz. of formula and she slurped that down and went to sleep! She slept well last night though. Almost 3 hours between feedings. I got up this morning and straightened up a bit, did the dishes, threw some laundry in, gave Piglet a bath and took a shower. My friend from high school who I'll call KC, came over and brought us Panera for lunch. She lives in Minnesota and comes home once or twice a year for holidays, so we always try to get together. She knitted a cute hat for Piglet. (Yes, another knitter! You people are everywhere!!!! ) Here's a little tidbit for you... I doubt any of you know this, but KC and I went to high school with Boss's daughter, so I was telling her about Boss having a new grandson on the way....small world, huh? Boss lives in the same neighborhood as KC's parents. Like you really cared....

Now I really need to try and fold some laundry....scratch that. Piglet's crying. Hope everyone is well!
