*My original post of the day is below...this is an update*
I just talked to Brian after his pain mgt. appt. and PTL it went well! I couldn't help but tear up as he was talking b/c I've had all of you praying and many others and that's been on my heart for the past couple of weeks....just praying earnestly that he could get a good doctor!
Brian said he was very nice and truly seemed to want to help him. Brian's blood pressure was sky high (duh! He's had no pain meds for 2 weeks!) so the doctor gave him more Percoset. It's a much lower dose than what he was taking before, but it's better than nothing! They told him to call back if it wasn't working. Brian really just told the doctor how he was feeling and told him he just wanted to be "normal" again and wanted the pain to go away and the doc said he would help him get there, so that's encouraging! He brought up wanting to do epidurals on Brian again and, of course, after Brian's painful experiences with the other doctor he wanted to wait. The doctor said that first of all, there should not have been any pain and second of all, he hooks his patients up to an IV and it only takes a minute! So, this is just more proof that the idiot doctor Brian saw before isn't any good! So, THANK YOU for your prayers! Please keep them up! Love you all!

This is awesome news sara and hopefully the medicine, even though its a lower dose, will still help a lot. I'm so glad you all found a better doctor that is answer to prayers.
I'm so glad that this doctor is giving your hubby a chance! That is such an answer to prayers! Sorry that his old doctor is such a wacko....glad God brought the new one to him!
