Gross!

So, I'm feeling stressed all of a sudden this week. The Nurse's bridal shower is Saturday and even though I've gotten some things for it, I feel like I've procrastinated too much. Froggy was supposed to come over Saturday to finish planning, but she wasn't feeling well, so we've been doing everything by phone or email since my weekday evenings are booked with Piglet. I just hope it turns out to be a nice shower and that The Nurse will enjoy it!

I was going to have to take off work Friday morning to stay home while the Air conditioning people were there, but thankfully my MIL is coming over, so I don't have to. Yippee! I forgot I have a seminar on Friday too, so that sucks! We can't wait to have our new furnace and AC! Of course it's supposed to be on the cool side until next week, so we won't be using it for awhile, but it will be so nice to have!

So, Piglet threw up on me last night. Would you like to take a stab at what I was doing when she did it? Lifting her above my head.....yes, that's right ladies and gents! She threw up on my face and in my hair. It was the grossest thing I think I've ever experienced in my life! Hubby, mind you through fits of laughter, got me a towel so I could wipe off my face and then I hit the shower. Yucky poo!!!!! It was definitely one of those "funniest home videos" experiences. She seemed fine, of course. Yuck!

I still need to finish up Mother's Day stuff for my MIL. I have one thing for her, but I need to get something else. I've got my mom's new Vera purse and I got her the matching wallet too. My MIL gave me a discount, so we were able to afford the wallet too. I can't wait to give it to her. I know she'll love it!

Last but not least in my Wednesday rambles.....American Idol. I have to say that I wasn't a fan of the Elvis week. I thought that Taylor did great on both songs. He's very talented but, in my opinion, doesn't have the sex appeal that Chris does. I thought Chris did okay, but I thought the sunglasses were pretty cheesy during the first song! Katharine still has a great voice, but the whole attitude of arrogance that she gives off annoys me about her. I really like Elliott but I'm afraid it's going to come down to he and Katharine tonight and I'm afraid he might end up going. We'll see....
