Tuesday

I have to first plug my brothers' website again. They have a new podcast out if you're interested in hearing their rambles. www.dabruddas.com

Okay, now onto me. My weekend was pretty lazy and uneventful. Friday night we just stayed home and had leftovers. We watched "Fun with Dick and Jane". It was pretty funny. I told hubby that would be us one of these days...ha ha.

Saturday I didn't do a whole lot in the morning. After trying to take a nap with Piglet, I finally got up and went out and mowed the yard. My dad stopped by to pick up the movie since they were the ones who got it from Netflix. He graciously (yeah right) watched Piglet while I finished mowing. I really had to twist his arm for that....ha ha. I came in and showered and played with Piglet for awhile.

Sunday, church was really good! The music was great and I really loved the sermon (well, what I heard of it). I took Piglet out for a bit. The message really spoke to me. I've been asking God to speak to me for awhile now and the sermon talked about us listening. Do I really stop to listen for Him? Do I turn off all the "noise" in my life and wait for His guidance and leading? It really made me stop and think. Anyway, I picked up Wendy's on the way home for lunch. After we ate, Piglet and I laid down for a nap. She slept, but I didn't get to sleep much. She woke up after a bit and we played and then she got tired again, so she went back to sleep for a bit. While she was sleeping, I got up and did a little cleaning. She woke up, so I passed her off to hubby and went in and vacuumed the floors and mopped. It really needed it after we had those workmen in the house. I didn't do much else after that. Mostly messed with Piglet.

Work is very busy this week. I have a seminar today, tomorrow, and Thursday. We're throwing a baby shower for a girl here after work tomorrow and then I'm leaving early on Friday so that hubby and I can celebrate our anniversary. My how the time flies! It's been 5 years. Hubby has no idea what we're doing. I just told him to take a 1/2 day off work and I was surprising him. I'm taking him to the Dayton Art Institute and then we'll go to dinner. That might sound odd to you, but hubby loves museums and always wants to go, but I'm the one who gets bored, so we never do. This will be the last thing he suspects! We'll probably go to Olive Garden for dinner. That's his favorite. My parents are watching Piglet. My mom watches her on Fridays anyway, so they'll just stay later. It's so nice to have free babysitters!!!!

Piglet gave me a scare yesterday. I had called to check on her in the morning and my mom mentioned that before Brian had left for work, Piglet was in her swing and I guess her arms were shaking. It apparently looked weird to Brian and he mentioned it and my mom thought she must have been excited to see him, so they didn't think anymore about it. Well, Piglet had been taking a nap in her crib and my mom went into get her and her arms were shaking again. This worried me b/c I was thinking.....what if it was a seizure, etc.? I called the doctor's office and they had to check with the doctor and call me back. They said to just keep an eye on her to see if she did it again and if she did, they wanted to know. They also said to grab her wrists to see if that stopped it. It's so hard to tell if it's something new she's doing or if it was something serious. She never did it again and she wasn't acting weird, so we figured it was just something she was doing that we hadn't seen before. It freaked me out! She had also been up from 2-4:30 the night before, so then we were wondering if something was wrong, but apparently she was just being difficult! Thankfully she slept through the night last night. I was exhausted after Sunday night!!!!

Okay, I think I've done enough rambling. OH, I have to share something funny with you. This will just show you what kind of a morning I've had. So, part of my job is to order business cards for our employees. Well, I email the company what I want, they email back with proofs, I approve them, and then they're ordered. Well, I placed an order 2 weeks ago and realized I had never gotten the proofs back, so I email the lady today and ask her what the delay was. She writes back and tells me that I approved them last week. DUH! She even forwarded me the email I had written approving them. Talk about looking like an idiot! Oh, well.....

I bet your Hubby will be very surprised! I am with you though, museums are not my thing! But cool to surprise him with something you know he will enjoy!! I can't believe it has been 5 years! Man, how time flies!

That is weird about Piglet...hopefully it is nothing! Keep us posted on that!

Love ya!

Oh, yes, arm shaking...Joe did it all the time. I was worried about seizures too so I took him in, they said it "seems" like he had control over it, just a baby learning he move his own body! But definitely keep an eye on it.

Too funny, I listened to your brothers last night - they are so hilarious! I was on IM with Tev and had to share some of the things they said (like "fruity" breath) and now Tev is checking them out! So tell your brothers they have 2 fans in SD!

Have a great week (sounds busy)!
Love in Faith,
Josy

How great that YOU are surprising Hubby!! Very cool!

I don't really know what to say about the arm thing...I would just try to pay more attention so you can explain it to the doctors and they can diagnose it the best. I pay attention to things like that and I can explain things to a tee for the doctor and she then knows exactly what is wrong. NOt much help, but that is all I could think of.

Hope work gets better. Too funny about the business cards.

You are so sweet! That's like me taking Hubby to a superhero museum...I could just sleep! LOL! I hope you have a wonderful time!!!!

I laughed about the business cards....sounds like me the last two weeks. I feel like I've done something years ago and it just happened! LOL!

Have a great Wednesday!
Lots of Love!

Dude go away...we don't stink and don't need you. We are God's beautiful flowers and our fragrance is the smell of God's love.

Ok sorry, just in a goofy mood. But seriously I think it is rude to post on people's blog you don't know.
