Wednesday

Here's me, Hubby, and Piglet at the baby dedication last Sunday. Unfortunately, I didn't see my dad taking pictures of us, so we didn't get one with us looking at him. You can see half of Elvis behind us. ha ha.

So, this week has been hectic at work. There's so much I haven't gotten caught up on. If I think too much about it, I'll get stressed out. I just have to look at my wire basket rack thing on my desk to see all that I have "pending" for me to do! Yikes! Okay, new subject.....

Piglet has woken up around 4:30 the past 2 nights, well, I guess it would be morning....anyway, it sucks! Thankfully, after I rock her, she's gone back to sleep, but sheesh! There's no rhyme or reason for it either. One funny thing is that when I went in this morning when she woke up at 4:30, I get to the side of the crib and look down and she sees me and pumps her arms and legs and was so excited! It was so cute, although it would have been cuter if it hadn't been so dag gone early! I think I mentioned this before, but we've been spoon-feeding her cereal at night. She's doing really well. She's even starting to open her mouth a little when I come at her with the spoon. Somebody should have told me how nasty cereal is to clean off of her. It's like paste. Yuck! I've been feeding her with her strapped in her bouncy seat, but I ordered her a highchair online last night. It's a really neat one that a friend told me about. It folds up flat, has several back, foot, and height adjustments, a 5 point harness, etc. I can't wait to get it! Piglet's still not pushing herself up on her arms when she's on her tummy. She's got her leg movement down pat, but it's her arms that she can't figure out how to use. Enough about her.....

We're getting our AC/Furnace put in next Thursday. We ended up going with Tanner. It took us a few days to decide. Aabel was a little cheaper, but they had so many complaints on the BBB that it was ridiculous! In the end, we went with dependability and the fact that we know someone there. We can't wait! It's literally drained our bank account (and then some) but it will be worth it!

My SIL has another ultrasound tomorrow to check out the blood clot thing. They'll also verify the sex again. If they are indeed having a girl, that will mean that Hubby's family will have 4 little girls at Christmas. His cousin already has a 3 yr. old girl and is due a couple of weeks before SIL with a girl and then we have Piglet and my niece (assuming it's still a girl) will make 4. Funny! I told Hubby's cousin that somebody needs to have a boy for all these girls to beat up on! ha ha. Hopefully it will be us in the next few years.....

I went to Target on my lunch today to get diapers and saw some very cute girl's clothes on clearance. I'm primarily thinking of FAB and Boo. Just thought I'd throw that out there....

Not much else going on. My brothers and I are going together to get my Mom a Vera Bradley purse for Mother's Day. She's been wanting one and Lord knows you practically have to sell off a kidney to afford one, so we decided to go in together and get her one. I think I'm going to get her one of the newer patterns called Hope something. (that was mainly for Mac-N-Cheese's benefit)

American Idol Comments: I can't stand Paris. She sings like a woman, but talks like a 2 yr. old! Annoying! I still can't stand Katharine's personality. She stunk on her first song last night and did okay on the second, but I'm with Mac-N-Cheese, I don't get the whole crawling on the floor thing and who cares that your toenails match your shirt??? Chris did well on the first song, but shouldn't have strained his voice on the second. Still love him, though. Taylor did great! He's been pretty consistent that way. Elliott did okay, but I don't see him winning. Let's hope Paris gets kicked off tonight!!!!

Ummm....that's pretty much it. Love you all! Have a good Wednesday!

Yeah...what kind of high-chair is it? We will be in the market for one again! And folding flat - cool! Last time we had one that was alson a swing...so we will also need a swing. GEESH! Why didn't we keep any of that stuff!?!?!?

Sorry about that......you crack me up! I just laughed reading your journal. Yeah, I like the new Hope pattern...but LOVE the other pink one (pink petal, I think). She will be thrilled I am sure! That is a great idea!!!!

Totally agreed with your AI comments. And YEAH! Paris is gone! I am always sad to see them leave even if I wanted them to. Just like I hate to see a team lose in a big sporting event (like the world series...I always feel bad for the loser)

Man, I am awfully chatty today!

Love ya and have a good day!
