Well, I meant to post on Friday and time just got away from me! When I'm home, you can forget it!
So, Friday, nothing happened that I can think of. I got home from work and did 2 loads of laundry. Well, I washed and dried them. Then I threw them in laundry baskets. :) Baby steps....
Saturday, I got up and got myself and Piglet ready and my boss, Lady Di, got to my house a little after 11 and then the 3 of us headed down to Waynesville to my MIL's shop. My boss wanted to go there, so we planned a little trip. We got down there and walked around the shop for a bit and then my MIL asked me if I'd watch the register so she could run up to the bank to get change, so I did. I ended up making a sale while she was gone. Good thing I remembered how to work the register! She got back and Lady Di, Piglet, and I went up to The Hammel House and had lunch. It was really good! This place is a Bed and Breakfast/Restaurant. It's really neat! The food was excellent! Piglet was very well behaved! After we ate, we walked back to MIL's shop and chatted for a bit and then we left. Lady Di used to live in Waynesville when she was little, so we drove past her old house and she pointed out some relative's houses also. It was a nice little trip. We got back to my house around 2 and she left. Piglet woke up from her short car-ride nap and I fed her and then we layed down and took a nap. I had to force myself to mow the yard. I felt so lazy! Before I went out and mowed, we were going back and forth about what to fix for dinner. Hubby wasn't that hungry. Well, after I got done mowing, I was too pooped to fix anything, so we ordered chinese. They didn't exactly give us what we ordered and they over-charged us, so I called and they gave us a credit for next time! Yippee!
Sunday, I got up and got ready and Piglet and I headed to church. I took her back to the nursery and left her for the first time. I actually left her in the Wee Ones Worship with Mac-N-Cheese and TT. Since it was her first time, I was glad they were back there. I wasn't as on edge as I thought I'd be. I did go back once and check on her right before the sermon. One of the nursery rocker volunteers had her and was rocking her. Mac-N-Cheese said the WOW had overwhelmed her a little, so they took her to the quieter room. I didn't see her b/c I was just trying to take a peek, but I saw his legs rocking and I didn't hear crying, so I knew she was fine. After church, I went back there and she was still sitting in his lap with these big eyes. As I was getting her things together, she all of a sudden burst into tears! It was kind of like, "Mom, you're here and you haven't picked me up yet!" As soon as I took her she stopped. What a wonderful feeling! I was glad she did well. She needs to be around strangers (well, strangers to her). I don't want her to be too clingy.
After church, I picked up Taco Bell for lunch and headed home. We ate and then I put Piglet down for a nap, but the stinker woke up about 5 minutes later. I got her back up and then put her back down again a little later and she slept about 45 minutes. She's such a bad napper! I hope it gets better! I folded 2 baskets of laundry. (There's still more to be folded, but oh, well) I cleaned up the kitchen and played with Piglet after she got back up. She's really into reaching for things now. She loves the remote and the phone. If we're talking on the phone, she stares at it and reaches to grab it. It's funny....for now anyway.
Hubby scheduled his surgery for early December. This way he can go through fall quarter in school and recover during the winter. He's going to have to consult with a pain management center. I ask that you pray about that. We don't know what that will entail, how much it will cost us, if he'll still be able to remain on pain meds until the surgery. We're also afraid of the recovery time, if the surgery will actually work, how we'll be able to afford him on disability for so long, etc. This whole thing is just one big worry, so I appreciate your continued prayers! I'm praying for all of you!

It was so good to talk to you on Sunday. I always say this, but I feel like we never talk! We miss ya on the worship team!!!!
Sounds like you had a very nice day with your boss. Do you get a % of the sale?!?! LOL!
I still love it when I pick up Pita Pocket and he yells "MOMMY" and gives me a hug!!!! Just letting you know that will continue!!!!!!!
Praying for your hubby's surgery. I hope this works and he has no more problems!
Lots of Love!
I love Waynesville. Maybe it will still be there when my kids are grown and I can just drive down and enjoy it, lol!)
I wondered if you had left Piglet in the nursery when I saw you "Piglet-less" outside the auditorium. :) I'm glad it went well. Mr. J is wonderful w/ them. It's so precious to watch him. He sings to them and rocks them. She'll be in good hands, so try not to worry too much. :)
Praying for you and hubby through this process. Much love!
