Almost Friday!

So, I've tried to make it a point this week to do some of my cleaning at night during the week, rather than all on the weekend. Wednesday night, I folded 2 baskets of laundry and put them away. Folding clothes is my least favorite thing to do! Ugggh! Last night I vacuumed the whole house, so I'm doing pretty good! I ended up going to Abby's swim lesson Tuesday even though I wasn't feeling that great. My dad came and videotaped some and took some pictures. He got a few with our camera, so I'll have to post them when I get them downloaded. Abby cooperated a tiny bit. The first thing they have you do is throw a toy out in front of them and hold them on their stomachs to get them to swim to the toy. She didn't kick her legs, but she did dog paddle a little, so that was something! She only has 3 more lessons left, so hopefully we'll accomplish something by the end. If not, we'll still work with her over the summer.

I'm so glad that Billy Ray Cyrus is off DWTS. I was disappointed to see Joey Fatone in the bottom 2, though. I don't vote on these shows, but I may have to next week to keep Joey. I love him!

Lakisha's off American Idol and I'm fine with that. I knew it would come down to her and Blake and I figure Blake will go next week. I really like Blake, though. I could have done without Barry Gibb's performance last night. What's with his teeth anyway? Yikes! Looks like a bunch of tiny white Chiclets!

Mother's Day this weekend should be interesting. As usual, Brian's family can't get their crap together until the last minute. I'm a planner, people! I need to know what's going on ahead of time and not the day of! I mentioned to my MIL that we all get together Saturday night to celebrate since Sunday is always so hectic. She liked the idea at the beginning of the week. Then SIL came back today and said they're going to look at houses on Saturday and then out to dinner for their anniversary (which was April 30th) and they'll probably just stop by her Mom and Dad's for an hour on Sunday. Isn't that big of them? I called MIL just now to see if she would still want to get together with just us on Saturday night and I guess she has to have a tooth pulled tonight and she's not sure how she'll feel then. Brian's dad's been out of town this week and she hasn't talked to him about it either, so everything's up in the air. It's so aggravating! We're going to my parents for lunch on Sunday since Jeff has to go out of town in the afternoon, so at least that's decided.

I'm getting a massage on Saturday morning! I'm so excited! Brian had gotten me a gift certificate for my birthday and I'm going to use that. I may have already mentioned that...hmm? I'm losing it.

Abby's now gotten so independent that she won't let me spoon feed her. She wants to eat everything with her hands and she flat out refuses if I try to spoon feed her something. It's so annoying! Things like spaghetti make quite the mess and I don't like messes! Guess I need to just get over that, huh? I keep thinking of Mandy's Abbey and the pancake syrup. I'd have died!
