So, I had to share something with you that I thought was kind of funny...in an ironic sort of way.
Yesterday was one of those days at work where several things were going wrong (mostly b/c it was my fault and I screwed something up) so on more than one occasion I commented to someone that it just "wasn't my day". Well, I've started trying to do devotions again on a daily basis and I do them in my car before I go into work in the mornings to start my day. So, this morning's was a scripture from Psalm 107 and the blurb I read was talking about using "day" phrases such as "This isn't my day" (a.k.a. me) or "This is my lucky day"...etc. Well, it was a reminder that it's not about "our" day, but that this is the day the Lord has made and let us rejoice and be glad in it...no matter what! I just thought that was so neat, considering my day yesterday...or rather His day! Just wanted to share that....
I woke up sick again this morning and I'm miserable. I finally got over that virus last week and then I wake up with all sorts of drainage and crap in my throat and I feel a tad feverish. It's so annoying! Arrrghhh!
Well, Alli started daycare back this week and things were supposed to return to normal, well, somewhat. My MIL was going to watch Abby on Tuesdays, Alli on Wednesdays, and then both girls together on Thursday. Well, MIL and I had talked over email yesterday about how nice it would be that she and Abby could get some one-on-one time together again. I think Abby definitely feels second fiddle when Alli's around since Alli requires so much more attention. So, I got a call from MIL at 9:30 last night saying that there was something wrong with their daycare schedule and she would have to watch both girls on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I'm really disappointed by it and I think MIL was too. We thought this was only going to be a temporary situation, but we'll see. She may end up taking Wednesday's every now and then to get some time alone with Abby. I'm sure my Mom will understand that.
Please keep praying for Alicia, Matt, and their new baby, Rylan. Also pray for Little Burrito that his acid reflux will stop with this new formula and for Kelley's sanity this week with Franklin gone! ha ha! Love you all!
