Exciting huh? ha ha! Everyone else was doing it, so I thought I'd join in....
My weekend was pretty good. Friday I got home from work and we ordered pizza. I was holding Abby and realized her head felt really warm. I took her temp and it was 101.5. What!? So, I gave her Tylenol. She was acting fine otherwise....no symptoms. So, after dinner, I was craving ice cream (TOM!) so we ran over to Dairy Queen. We got back and she was still really warm, so I went to give her some Motrin and we were out. I ran to K-Mart and got more and came home and gave it to her. By the time she went to bed, her temp was down in the 99's, so that was much better!
Saturday morning, I heard Abby around 6:30. I laid in bed like I usually do and ended up dozing back off to sleep. I woke up again around 8 and panicked for a minute, then realized she was quiet. She had gone back to sleep! That's REALLY not like her! I went ahead and got up and got my shower since I had my pedicure at 10 anyway. Abby woke up a little before 9 and she was hot again. I gave her Tylenol and called the doctor's office since they're open until noon on Saturdays. I talked to a nurse and she said to give her the Motrin, since that helped the night before and just keep an eye on her.
I went to my pedicure (which was lovely!) and came back home and gave her the Motrin. I had to wait 2 hours since I had already given her the Tylenol. So, I gave her that and she was doing better again. We went out to my in-laws and put her down for a nap. She slept 4 hours there while we swam! We were ready to go before she even woke up! She woke up feverless, so she must have slept off whatever was causing it. SIL came out with Alli, so we hung out and talked to her awhile.
We left and stopped and got a movie on the way home and picked up Penn Station for dinner. I saw one of my co-workers in the parking lot and then Brian saw one of his inside. She was just outright rude! The funny thing is that she and her husband go to our church. Her husband stopped to talk to us and she just kept right on going. People amaze me sometimes!
Yesterday, Abby and I went to church at Bethany. I got to hold Tony for quite awhile!!! Yippee! I was worried he was going to wail there a couple of times, but he would just settle back down and go back to sleep. (Thanks for giving him up Dawn!) :) Abby did well in her class again. When I went back to get her, she was sitting on the blanket with the other kids eating a cracker and she got the biggest smile on her face! We didn't stay for the CXT festivities, b/c she goes down for a nap after we get home. I picked up Wendy's and went home and ate quickly and put her down. I napped a little on the couch. Brian was going to lay down there and I beat him to it and laid my head in his lap and went to sleep! :) I only slept about an hour or so and Abby woke up and I decided to run to the store to get a few things. We just did our own thing for dinner.....Brian had pizza bites, I had cereal, and Abby had a smorgesboard of stuff. LOL. It's always "fun" trying to get her to eat a meal!
So, that's our weekend in a nutshell! We have a busy week ahead too. Tomorrow is Brian's grandma's birthday, so we're going out to dinner for that and then Thursday is Brian's birthday, so we're going out to dinner for that and I need to do laundry this week and pack for our trip. Busy busy! Hope you all are doing well!

Weird about the fever. Little Burrito had a fever this morning. Did Abby give it to him? lol! You know about computer viruses!
It is so funny how people act when they're not at church. I hate that her true colors came out, but I'm glad that her hubby was nice enough to talk to ya'll.
Hope Abby's doing well today. You have such a busy week, she needs to be well to catch up!
Lots of Love!
I wanna know who it was at Penn Station?!?!?!?
Penn Station sounds YUMMY@!!!!!! We're trying to figure out what to have b/c we have to go to the grocery store after Danny mows the grass. That sounds perfect.
I was sad you couldn't stay yesterday, it was so good, even if I say so myself. I wish we could've taken some home. But the good thing is that I know all the recipes and can whip it up anytime I want. :)
Glad Abbi is all better!!
Love ya!
I love Penn Station! MMMMMmmmmmm....
Juli S. said there was something going around, because a couple of kids in the nursery during CXT didn't have fevers when they arrived, but had them by the end of the night. She said it was really weird! I'm glad Abby's better now.
Sorry you ran into a stinker at the restaurant. Maybe she just had something weighing on her mind?
I'm still praying for you guys and Brian's plan to go ahead w/ the surgery. You were right when you said God will take care of you. He always comes through. :)
Have a great night! Much love!
