TGIF!!!!!

Thank you all for your encouragement and prayers! It's been a stressful couple of weeks. We still have yet to hear from the neurosurgeon. Grrrr! Hubby was supposed to call them today since they hadn't called us. Having to deal with hubby and Piglet's illnesses, lack of sleep, Piglet's fussiness, and everything else has just been weighing on me, so I really appreciate the prayers.

Last night I got home from work and hubby had just gotten Piglet to sleep. I guess she had been cranky all afternoon. This gas problem is killing us! It's so frustrating!!! We had leftovers for dinner. I started doing our taxes. That was a huge headache. I'm still not finished b/c it found some errors. I finally just had to stop b/c I was getting very frustrated and it didn't help that Piglet would scream when we put her down. When the gas bothers her, she isn't happy unless she's on one of our shoulders. Grrr!

So, we watched Survivor and then The Office. I love that show!!!!! It cracks me up! I fed Piglet around 10 and just put her in the bassinet. I didn't feel like fighting her on the crib. She woke up when I laid her down and fussed for a little bit. She slept until 4am! It was nice to get 5 hours of straight sleep. I got to work this morning and Lady Di gave me part of my birthday gift....some yummy lotion and shower gel. I ran and got muffins for breakfast. Usually one of the owners brings in donuts every Friday, but he was on vacation, so I ran and picked it up. Lady Di, Em, and Skinny girl (the receptionist) took me to lunch for my birthday to Friday's. It was good!!!! Lady Di paid for me as the other part of my birthday gift. Nice, huh? I have a great boss!

Hubby called the doctor's office and got an antibiotic for his bellybutton/abscess problem and they gave him the name of the neurosurgeon so he could call them himself since they haven't called him yet to schedule a consultation.

Oh, one thing I forgot to mention is that hubby's been bugging me about what I want for my birthday. It's hard for me to come up with things, but I finally gave him a few ideas. Well, since I do the checking account and everything, I put some extra money on his credit card for him to get me something. Well, he calls me yesterday while he's out shopping and says he spent more than what I "allotted" him so he used the check card and I'll see a charge from Target. Don't get me wrong, I love Target, but nothing I asked for could be gotten at Target. So, I asked him last night why I gave him a list of what I wanted and he said they were suggestions....hmmm. Whatever! I guess beggars can't be choosers....

Tomorrow hubby and Piglet and I are going to use my gift certificate from work and go to Red Lobster for lunch and then go to dinner with his family at Bravo tomorrow night to celebrate my birthday with them. My brother had something going on at church tomorrow night, so we couldn't get together with my family, so we're doing that Sunday afternoon. I guess I'll have a "birthday weekend" going on....
