Yeah for cereal!

I got home from work yesterday and my Mom said Piglet had been fussy most of the morning, but had finally taken a nap in the afternoon. She had just woken up when I got home. After my parents left, I fed her and she was pretty happy for a little bit. She started to get fussy again, but I could tell that she was sleepy. Why this child fights sleep, I have no idea! There's not much for her to miss! She was content in her bouncy seat for awhile while I fixed dinner. Hubby got home and we ate and he went off to study and I watched TV. I fed Piglet a little before 9 and then gave her a little formula mixed with cereal to "encourage" her to sleep all night again. She was sooooo sleepy! I had to keep her awake to make sure she ate and got full! I put her down and she gave me no trouble whatsoever! If only every night were that easy! She slept until about 4:40 and I heard her fussing. I was hoping she would fall back asleep for another hour or so. Thankfully she did! I got up about 5:15 and got my shower and she was awake by the time I got done. We got ready and headed off for HBM's house. I dropped Piglet off and hoped for the best! By that I mean that Piglet would behave (no fussiness) and that Pita Pocket would adapt to her well. HBM was going to use Pita's old carseat to haul Piglet to church for preschool and it dawned on me as I was driving to work that our carseats are the same brand and Piglet's seat might fit into their base. This would keep them from having to transfer her from one seat to the other. Well, I call HBM to mention this and she answers her phone, "She's fine!" I cracked up. I'm not THAT paranoid!!!! :)

It seems that Pita Pocket has taken to Piglet very well and I'm very glad! HBM said she got some cute pictures of them and I can't wait to see them! Hubby told me as he was leaving that Pita was crying b/c he didn't want Piglet to leave. How sweet! I just hope he doesn't get sick of her....

Well, I left work early to go meet hubby at his doctor's appt. They were going over his MRI results. This was the biggest waste of time!!!!! The doctor came in and said..."Yep, you have a herniated disk." That's what I left work early for????? Grrr! The doctor is going to try him on cortizone pills to see if that helps the inflamation any better and he'll see him back in a month since hubby can't get in to see the neurologist until May. What a pain! I went ahead and left before hubby got his scripts so that I could get Piglet home to feed her. Hubby called and asked what we were doing about dinner and I said lasagna. Well, he didn't want that so he suggested Burger King. I didn't feel like cooking anyway, so I said that was fine and he picked that up on his way home. We ate and watched Grey's Anatomy from Sunday night and then watched American Idol. No one "wowed" me, but it was still entertaining. I can't stand Brenna!!! She's the cockiest little thing. You can tell Paula doesn't like her either!

I fed Piglet and put her to bed around 9:30 or 10. She fussed for awhile and I ended up having to go in to rock her. She burped and settled down after that. I guess she had some gas she needed to get out. She slept through the night again. She fussed again around 4, but went back to sleep. Hubby was up all night. He said he just couldn't sleep. At one point, I remember him hugging me and thanking me for going to the doctor with him. I thought maybe I dreamt it, so I asked him this morning and he said he did do that. He said I just grunted. ha ha. I was sleepy!

Well, I hope everyone has a great day! I hope Josy had a wonderful birthday yesterday and hang in there! We're praying for you!!!! Love you all!

Did you tell the doctor that YOU could have diagnosed your hubby's problem? That just kills me. That's like them telling us Pita Pocket has an ear infection. I wanna say "yeah, that is what we brought him in here for....I am charging YOU $20.00"!
So glad that Piglet has slept well for you! You're on the right path!!!
Lots of Love!!!

WOW!!! Piglet is doing great! I know what a blessing that is....there is just something to be said about un-interrupted sleep! You don't understand that until you have kids! So, YEAH!

How nice of your Hubby to hug you in the night.....My Hubby does that sometimes and I never wake up (so he says). Funny how I hear my kids whisper at night...but I can tune my Hubby out! LOL

Hope this great trend continues for Piglet!!! Love ya!
