All of you that know her have probably heard by now that Wilma, a lady in our church, passed away early this morning. I'm still so shocked by it, as I'm sure her family is too. I just really feel for them right now and they desperately need your prayers. Kerry, an elder in our church, is the son of Wilma. His mother-in-law was also recently diagnosed with cancer, so they are having a very burdensome time right now. My heart just goes out to all of them!
Happy Birthday to Sarah (Froggy). Her birthday's actually tomorrow, but we're all going out tonight to celebrate. Paige is coming down and couple of Sarah's other friends are all meeting us at P.F. Chang's for dinner. I can't wait!!!! I love it! Poor Brian has Abby all day and then tonight again while I go out with the girls. My heart's just breaking for him....he he he.
Tomorrow morning I'm getting my hair cut. Nothing drastic. I want to keep the length, but I do want to get her advice on adding a little "umph" to the top of my head. Maybe she can just use some thinning shears or something. My hair is very thick, which is makes it heavy, which makes it very flat on top of my head and with a round face, that's not a good combo! Aren't you glad you asked? Oh, wait, you didn't ask, did you? :)
Umm...not much else has happened this week. I took Abby to the doctor yesterday to check her ears and make sure they were clear and they were! She cries at everything when we're there....being weighed, getting her temp taken (the kind that just runs across the forehead) hearing her heartbeat, etc. It's almost embarrassing. It's not like she's being hurt. Funny child! The doctor agreed with me that she may have allergies and maybe that's why she keeps getting a runny nose. I'm starting to think I've developed them too, so you never know. Anyway, she prescribed some Zyrtec to see if that helped. I gave her a bigger dose of Benadryl last night (the max. they said I could give her is 1/2 tsp.) and she slept until 8:45 this morning! I'm thinking she might need that all weekend....he he he.
Well, I hope you all have a great weekend and remember to keep all the Jones' in your prayers!

So sorry to hear about the lady at your church. that's just awful what that family is going through.
Have a fun night with the girls!
Maybe your stylist could razor the top? That's what Amis does to give my hair some oomph.
Glad that Abby's infection cleared up.
About your supervisor/boss... I would go to her boss because that "I didn't feel like letting you..." is BS. If she's going to be in a supervisor position, she needs to use the professional judgment to earn that respect. I would think that knowing it is an option to make up time or it isn't an option would be better than, "well I could ask today, but I don't think she had her starbuck's double mocha latte, so maybe tomorrow would be better to ask her..." *sigh* this is why I'm so glad to have a male boss. They are so much more consistant than any female boss I've had. Either they're a butthead or they're not, LOL.
Okay, there's my two cents, spend it wisely!
I can't imagine what Kerry and his family are going through. I was telling a friend of mine at church about it and she said that it has become a common problem with blood clots these days. I pray that Kerry and his family are leaning on God. I wish we could be there with ya'll for the funeral. We send many prayers!
Happy Birthday Froggy!!!!!
I agree with Josy....the razor has always helped my hair with some umph. I need something too because mine's just flat on top!
Lots of Love!
