Happy Humping!

Just wanted to see if you were paying attention. Thought I'd bring a little humor to "hump day". So, I'm halfway done covering the switchboard this week. The receptionist is in Cancun. Lucky duck! It has been crazy busy on the phones, so I can't wait to be done!!!!

Hubby had his epidural yesterday. I took him and wanted to go in with him, but they wouldn't let me. Poor thing had a hard time. They gave him a valium to relax him, which didn't help and the numbing stuff didn't work too well, so he felt the needle go in and it really hurt. To make matters worse, I guess with the way he lays, they hit a nerve when they went in. He's had pain from that. The doc said he'll have to do it differently next week. So far, he hasn't felt any relief and where they hit the nerve is really bothering him, so he's worse off than when he went in there. It's almost laughable.....almost. They tell you not to expect to get the full effect until after the last one. They're doing them in a series of 3 a week apart.

Something I keep forgetting to mention is that I know some of you (maybe just Missy) listen to Christian music on the internet. Well, Mix 1077 now has an option for Contemporary Christian music and I like it better than Klove. There's no commercials and they play some different stuff. It's a nice change since I always listen to Klove in the car. Anyone can listen (even you, Josy!) since it's on the internet. Just thought I'd put that out there. It's www.mix1077.com.

Let's see....we went to BIL's grandpa's viewing Monday night. It was a packed house! We had to wait in line just to give our condolences to the family. It was crazy! What we thought would be a 20 minute visit turned into an hour! It was nice, though, b/c I could tell they appreciated us going. Piglet did great! I had to hold her the entire time (I thought my back was going to break!) and she was so tired, but she didn't fuss....well, except when BIL held her. LOL.

Yesterday, I got home from work and I had put a roast in the crockpot with potatoes and carrots yesterday morning, so we had that. Hubby had made green beans also. We didn't do much. We watched BB. Comments to follow on that. I'm still being persistent with getting Piglet to fall asleep on her own. It's taking awhile still, but she eventually does it. She wasn't feeling well yesterday, though. Her gums had been bothering her all day. Poor thing. It was after 9pm last night before she finally fell asleep. She didn't get up until 7:15am this morning, which is way late for her! I was shocked! Too bad it wasn't a Saturday when I could sleep in.

I was looking at The Greene's website to see the shops and restaurants we're going to have. It's going to be so nice! I was against it at first b/c of all the traffic that would bring since it's 2 seconds from my house, but now I"m excited about it.

So, I almost feel sorry for James. I guess the name of the game is that you can't trust anyone, though. Each person on that show decides their own fate by decisions they make. As much as I can't stand Janelle, I've got to give her credit for her "performance" on how depressed she was. I had to laugh at the music and everything during that part of the show. Too funny! Will is such a smart player. As much as it pains me to say it, I think he deserves to win at this point. He's a dirty player, but he's good at this game!

SIL's baby shower is this weekend. Everything is pretty much set. I have to finish up the game I'm doing (a multiplechoice/true and false about SIL and baby) and then we'll meet there on Saturday early to decorate. That's about it. I can't wait until it's over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going to be in the choir this year. I couldn't last year b/c Piglet was due right then, but since I'm not doing the praise team, I definitely wanted to do this. Hopefully we'll have fun this year! (Mac-n-cheese, I hope you're doing it!!!) Well, that's it for now, girlies! Love you all!
